IMEA 611 Basic Construction and Maintenance Workshop

To provide workshop participants instruction on 200 - Amp underground distribution system construction and overhead distribution construction including staking, pole setting, pole framing, and pole guying as well as bucket truck and digger derrick operation. Upon successful completion, participants will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill needed for tool and material identification, basic equipment operation, and basic underground and overhead construction methods under de-energized conditions.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received 5 days prior to the start date of class. After that date, fees will be charged for expenses incurred by IMEA.

NOTE: Registration Fee is for Workshop only. The Apprentice Study Guides and Textbooks for the Apprentice Program are separate and will be invoiced separately should you decide to enter the Apprentice program. A Study Guide is required for each of the four workshops. The set of books are used throughout all four workshops, so they are a one-time charge.
