IMEA 613 Advanced Workshop (Class #032023)
The IMEA 613 Advanced Workshop provides advanced-level training for utility personnel in the operation, troubleshooting, and metering of overhead and underground electric distribution systems, consistent with OSHA requirements and accepted utility industry practices.
Instruction includes classroom and hands-on field training in system operation, fault identification, troubleshooting techniques, and metering applications for overhead and underground distribution systems. Emphasis is placed on system analysis, safe work practices, and operational awareness during simulated energized conditions.
Upon successful completion, participants will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for the operation, troubleshooting, and metering of underground and overhead electric distribution systems. Energized conditions are simulated during portions of this workshop. Employer designation for task assignment remains the responsibility of the employer.

Campus Lodging & Fees
St. Joseph’s College has apartment style housing available for IMEA apprentices. Each apartment has 5 private bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, common living area & kitchen and a patio or balcony. We will not put more than 4 apprentices per apartment and will make every attempt to keep it at 3. If you would like to take advantage of on-campus lodging, please bring your normal toiletries, wash cloths and towels.
Campus lodging fee is $300.00 (no taxes) per person.
